Fast meningitis diagnosis:

The eazyplex^® CSF direct test system is a qualitative in vitro diagnostic system for the detection of infectious agents (bacteria and viruses) from cerebrospinal fluid, which can cause inflammation of the central nervous system (CNS). With this molecular biological test system for direct detection, the following infectious agents are recorded: HSV-1, HSV-2, VZV as well as N. meningitidis, S. pneumoniae, S. agalactiae and L. monocytogenes.

Optimized parameter selection:

The eazyplex^® CSF direct system is also available as a separate bacterial kit as eazyplex^® CSF direct M for the parameters: N. meningitidis, S. pneumoniae, S. agalactiae and L. monocytogenes plus H. influenzae and E. coli.

The separate viral kit called eazyplex^® CSF direct V contains the parameters: HSV-1, HSV-2 and VZV.
